Trudi Feinstein, EdD
Presently on the faculty at Boston University, Trudi Feinstein has been a professor of Psychology for the past 25 years.
Trudi works as a patient rounder and is co-chair of the Tree of Life, a team she initiated in 1999 to raise money for the Jimmy Fund. She has also worked with Dr. Carolyn Kaelin as a media consultant for Kaelin's book, Living Through Breast Cancer.
Trudi was diagnosed with Stage I breast cancer in January 1999 and was treated at Dana-Farber. In addition, Trudi's partner was diagnosed with Stage IV non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2001. Having had the experience of being both a patient and a supporter of a loved one with cancer, Trudi feels that the care that she and her partner received at Dana-Farber was outstanding. When Trudi's partner died eight months after his diagnosis, she resolved to volunteer at Dana-Farber as a way of giving back for all that was done for him.
