The Blum Family Resource Center Van is an innovative approach to bringing Dana-Farber's expertise in the battle against cancer to the public through early detection prostate and skin cancer screenings, and several other cancer education/awareness and prevention initiatives. The van, which visits various neighborhoods in the Boston area and focuses on the city's underserved population, is 39 feet in length and includes a large 15-person classroom, two computer stations, and an exam room for screenings and private consultations.

As part of Dana-Farber's Blum Family Resource Center, the van also provides its visitors with the most current and useful cancer educational materials, as well as support, resources and referrals.
